Cherry cola and jalapeo give these tasty meatballs their own unique flavors, making a sweet and spicy take on a classic dish. If you cook them in a pressure cooker, they will be tender and tasty in a lot less time.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 1/2 cup breadcrumbs. 1/4 cup finely chopped onion. 1/4 cup finely chopped jalapeno. 1 egg. 1/2 cup cherry cola. 1/2 cup ketchup. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, jalapeno, egg, salt, and pepper. Form meat mixture into meatballs. In the pressure cooker, combine cherry cola, ketchup, brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce. Add meatballs to the pressure cooker. Seal pressure cooker and cook on high pressure for 8 minutes. Allow natural release for 5 minutes, then quick release any remaining pressure. Serve meatballs with sauce.
