That asexual zombie apocalypse movie post is really, really homophobic. It's basically saying that a repeat of the AIDS crisis would be an "interesting spin" on zombie movies, which is horrible.
Hmm yes i do see your point but i don’t think the person who posted it thought of that, it is possible they weren’t aware of the AIDS crisis, i even had to look it up.
I don’t think homophobic is the right word though because it’s not a negative perception on the homosexual community, It would be more inconsiderate of the events that took place.
I see this idea as something interesting because there are a lot of things that can be sexually transmitted so for a zombie virus to be one would be highly possible. But there are also many other ideas around using sexual diseases as a big factor, diseases are around sexually or not and yes if the idea was say written into a movie it would depend on how they wrote this to happen whether or not it was homophobic and inconsiderate. If they made comparisons to events and started using slurs ect then yes it would definitely be homophobic but without more detail it’s hard for me to say yes or no on my opinion.
I also don’t have too much knowledge on the AIDS crisis so i would have to look into that.
That being said if you feel it is homophobic then you have a right to feel that.

uuuum i cant remember the name but it was a children’s fantasy book based on an archaeologist. The plot sounded good but the book was shit and i had no idea what was going on.

In response to your John Brown accent post: BLESS YOU. I'M SO GLAD YOU AGREE. I remember actually looking forward to watching the dub, but hearing John's accent was so off-putting! The VA tried so hard to emphasise John's 'strange accent' (since he speaks in the kansai dialect in the original), but ended up making him sound like freaking Crocodile Dundee. It's even worse that it's an American? VA who puts on this accent, and ffs a normal Australian doesn't sound like that aisdhoandaso

Why didn’t they just get an Australian to do that if they wanted an accent. I guess they would need a reason for everyone laughing the first time John shows up but they could have come up with something else because that is a horrible accent… mate >.o
