These Cherry Pie Cookie Cups are a delightful treat that combines the flavors of cherry pie with the convenience of a cookie. The buttery cookie cups are filled with sweet and tangy cherry pie filling, making them perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened. 1/4 cup granulated sugar. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract. 1/2 cup cherry pie filling. Powdered sugar for dusting.
Instructions: Warm up the oven to 350F 175C and grease a mini muffin tin just a little. Melt the butter and mix it with the sugar in a bowl until the mixture is light and fluffy. Mix in the vanilla extract until it's well mixed in. Add the flour and salt slowly while stirring the mixture. Do this until a soft dough forms. Place tablespoon-sized balls of dough into the mini muffin tin's wells and press them down to make cups. Put a teaspoon of cherry pie filling in each cookie cup. After the oven is hot, bake the cookie cups for 12 to 15 minutes, or until they are lightly golden. First, let the cookie cups cool in the muffin tin for a few minutes. Then, move them to a wire rack to cool completely. Powdered sugar should be sprinkled on top of the cookie cups after they have cooled. Serve these tasty Cherry Pie Cookie Cups and enjoy them!
