she saw the people who was surrounded by (her mobster dad, her mob wife mom, etc etc). 

It was just a moment of ‘My parents/family are bad people…’ (not necessarily ‘bad’ but in her point of view, it’s more about her parents being dangerous). it’s was more about a sudden realization rather than actually pondering the question.
