of course faust gets in on it too - she loops herself over your shoulders and has you wear her comforting weight like a warm scarf til you feel better
if you’re not wanting physical contact, that’s no problem. he’s always got an ear to listen, or he’ll conveniently go “do the shopping” without having to be asked if you need alone time (and of course he’ll bring back pumpkin bread from selasi)
also lights your favorite incense and brings out the softest, fluffiest blankets you own just for the added Comfort Factor
might try a pep-up potion, but he makes no promises, you were always much better at that than him

if you want to go crazy, get out your negative energy through dancing and drinking and having a raucous good time, he’s right there by your side, and mazelinka swears she hasn’t seen him dance like this since the masquerade
but if you’d rather have a quieter night, he’s more than happy to sit in the booth, arm around your shoulders, trading stories and jokes until they’re about to blow the lanterns out for the night
