Yes, if only! I knew I recognized that name from somewhere :D but yes, according to myhungergames.com, Mr. Pettyfer is best known for the movie I Am Number Four. I saw the beginning of it, couldn't get invested, and yeah, his acting sorta blew. So I'm still rooting for Garrett Hedlund :D I didn't even know he was in the running -- thought that was just Tumblr getting ahead of itself with graphic making -- but evidently rumors have it that he's among the top three actors being considered.

Also kind of looking forward to introducing my TLAT family to my DS family. I think they'd make for some epic "crossovers," hehe. We shall see.
Now I need to go dig up my old bios and graphics and all the notes I've written for characters I intended to create. Oh, this is going to be FUN!!!!

Yes, yes we should! I just kind of end up admiring people from the shadows and that is not very conducive to really getting CLOSE to someone.
I am totally down with trading FB URLs, even if I'm not much better at keeping facebook regularly updated. I mostly use it to track events and sometimes for the PMs so that FAIRLY STANDARD PRACTICE of updating one's status goes pretty neglected. I still like having that contact info though, because I feel it's a lot less transient than things on tumblr.

Yeah, I remember when I interned for Sacramento’s Fair Housing Commission and had to call places to help find families/individuals temporary housing. The places didn’t like calling back. I hope you get through to someone and it works out.

Yeah, that does sound nice. :\ Phone calls are a pain, but I hope you are able to find a good place to live. Does it not matter which city you’re in?
No, city doesn't matter. I'm currently in contact with HUD (if they would ever pick up their damn phone or call me back) and I'm checking MercyHousing.org and getting all the phone numbers I can for any place in California.
I would LOVE if we could move somewhere cheaper, but we just wouldn't have the money for a state to state move. Because I have been looking at Oregon, around Portland (because I follow so many people who live there now or are moving there) and they just love it and they say it's cheap (and the housing market is cheap there).
If no one calls us back soon, then I do have a number for a church that will put us up for a bit, that will help me and mom get jobs, go through job training, all that fun stuff. It's just if it comes to that, we'd have to get rid of the animals, and currently if that were to happen, I really don't think my mental state would handle it.
So hopefully one of these 50+ places I'm getting numbers for will call us back or have a waiting list, or something.
