And YES, I certainly do have a defining moment. I was ten years old and got so annoyed by an Archie comic story (Betty was being nice, Archie was a douche) that I nearly threw the mag out of my window. And in the next panel… lo and behold, Jughead to the rescue. 

Yeah. I’ve shipped bughead for a long, long time.
