I love how friendly the chess world (its good side) is! Neighborly, comradely, cooperative. I don't know which adjective works best.
It's heartwarming because of its realness. It's not that anyone is perfect. There's scandals and drama, there's differing opinions on the best path forward, but within that setting, there's a contingent of people who tend to be cordial when they disagree and well-meaning in their approach.
Those that are good-natured work together and are focused on what matters. Fostering a healthy environment for players and fans, growing the game and bringing it to the world stage.
