Thomas would want Sebastian to recall the moment his mother first told him off for doing something Sebastian loved that was not an alright thing to do according to their religion. Thomas would want Sebastian to think about how little sense it made. Thomas would want Sebastian to tell him that it wasn't right, even if he couldn't believe in it himself.

† —— It wasn’t the first time six year old Sebastian heard his mother’s voice take on that horrible pitch while she spoke to him, but it was the first time he was aware of how her eyes looked at him coldly and full of caution, while she did. She wasn’t just angry with him in this moment, because that would have been okay. He’d been angry himself at things, but it always passed. But she wasn’t just angry, she was unhappy with him.

” — understood?!” was all he heard of her sentence and he nodded regardless of what she’d said. He didn’t need to hear her words for the message to be clear. She released both his wrists and the force send him tumbling to the ground. He looked at his hands for a moment, before he looked down his body and at his crotch, where his pyjama bottoms were still partially pushed down his hips.

If it was a sin, then why did it feel so nice…?

Suddenly his eyes opened and met light blue ones. His breath was stuck somewhere down his throat and he wasn’t sure whether his eyes were stinging because he’d forgotten how to blink or whether possibly the memory had stirred more than a mild resentment.
