Emmett’s eyes immediately darted to Nissim’s crotch, before moving back up to meet Nissim’s eyes. He couldn’t deny that those words turned him on a little. “Fuck off,” he replied, before sticking out his tongue. “The only thing I’m swallowing tonight is a fuckton of booze.”

She’d entered the bar slightly angrily. It was the second time the same girl had cancelled after their first date, which was really giving her the impression that she wasn’t that interested after all. Instead of sitting at home in misery, she decided on some therapeutic gay-bar cruising. Looking at other girls would surely make her feel better.

She arrived at the bar, putting her fake leather biker-jacket down on one of the bar stools, before ordering a beer from the bartender. She looked around, then looked at who was standing beside her; a guy she’d seen around before, but never spoken to. He seemed to be doing what she had in mind. Might as well be as entertained as she could be while doing so, right?

“Hey there,” she then said, to attract the other’s attention immediately. “You’re a regular here, aren’t you?”

”Have you lost something?"

She was in a hurried mess going through her handbag, tossing everything onto the bench beside her because nothing was as valuable as what she just lost anyway.

When a stranger came up to her to ask about it-- either because he wanted to be the lovely gentleman to help her or because she was taking up two of the only vacant seats with her mess-- she laughed sarcastically. “If you call my keys, wallet and my phone ‘something’, then yeah, I guess I fucking lost something.”

/* Hmmm. I sometimes catch myself roleplaying ‘types’, or being better at certain types or more prone to roleplaying them. I like characters that are pretty in control, or know a lot, but that doesn’t mean I can’t play someone who doesn’t. I can’t play characters that are unrealistic, or based on something stupid or are in a fandom that doesn’t connect to me.

I roleplay characters like Jim Moriarty and Pitch Black and various other baddies, psychopaths and other non-innocent types, but I started off roleplaying Obi-Wan on here who’s completely different again. Funnily enough, though, Mia is the first character I’ve played who’s personality is close to his since I played Obi-Wan, so that’s quite fun.

I love playing lots and lots of different characters and sometimes go for a character that I might usually not play to try to challenge myself! */
