I wanna see more of Chet and/or Fungus coping with the abuse they endured for multiple years. They’re so complex in their own unique ways that are so similar but so different.
Weird how the most abused characters are both comic relief. With fungus I can see how it appeals to children viewers bc it’s like physical slapstick. But what’s the joke supposed to be with Chet. “Haha look at this pathetic employee living paycheck to paycheck and slowly wasting away at his desk.” Is this what kids find funny nowadays.
They’re so interesting to me but nooooo let’s not focus on them because they’re just side characters look at how funny and quirky Tylor Flunkmon is!!!!

The day Johnny got married was the worst day of Chet’s life. He couldn’t believe that as far as her knew, Johnny would be spending every day of his life with someone other than him

Chet deep down knows Johnny would never love him. How could he? He’s so much better than him.
But it still hurts, seeing your favorite person with somebody else.
Even though he knew it’d never happen, it was fun to forget everything and just believe it could be possible, to entertain the sweet delusions for just a while.
He knows it was never possible, so why does the reality still hurt?
