This is my fifth set of wheels from OEWheels in the past 12 years, if that tells you anything. I love their products and I haven't found a better price anywhere else. You can get all types of factory replica wheels in a variety of finishes & sizes that the factory never offered. Their prices are roughly 1/3 of what the dealership would charge you. Cant beat it! Got a $20 Craigslist flush tool box bolted down in the bed of the Vandal project. The bed liner coating has got to go though. I liked how it looked and made it less eye catching for thieves, but the black turns the box into an oven. The box lid is 20* hotter that the bed rail. My ice chest inside is suppose to keep ice for three days, but at this temp it only keeps ice for one day. I don't remember having this heat with the box in my blue C10. Good morning gear heads! It's been too busy over here the past two weeks! If all goes well, I'll have a video up by this weekend. The short bed conversion got a little strength test this weekend, while helping family move, with a light load of furniture. It was just a couple hundred pounds (not counting the trailer) and the trip was 30 miles, mostly freeway. All went well as far as I can tell. No signs of anything different. Photo shot of the Vandal project with the bumper and tow hitch now mounted. I'm glad that I went ahead and mounted the tow hitch that same day as I did the bumper, because it was simple. Everything lined up and I only had to drill two more holes in the frame for the hitch to mount. Done! Photo after the 45 minute test drive last night. Feels good to drive the Vandal again! Can't wait to get the rest done.
