It’s Sunday spa day! Our furriends @chewy invited us to try some #BurtsBees Waterless Shampoo for Cats for free as part of the #chewyinfluencerprogram. Since we are not generally cats who get baths, we thought it might be an easy way to freshen up when we aren’t smelling our finest (which for Olive especially is pretty often 🙀). Depending on the temperament of the cat, applying it could go either way as you can see😅 Olive and Fig didn’t mind at all (Fig looooves being wet any way) but it startled Rye a bit at first - we might recommend starting by the tail rather than the neck for best results. The directions say to spray and then brush through the fur. Everyone liked having a good brushing afterwards 😹 especially Fig. There is no fragrance/perfume in the product and afterwards we smelled pleasantly fresh and not perfumed. Nobody in our house really cares for perfumes, so that suits us fine. Fig tried to even lick it off Rye at one point 😹 If you are looking for a way to freshen up your cats with self-grooming issues - such as seniors or other cats who have stopped grooming themselves this might be a great option for them. No dubious ingredients! We probably will only use it on Olive as the torties don’t really need it (but Fig may demand it😹) but it is nice to have the option that doesn’t involve an actual bath! Chewy is  #WherePetLoversShop and they have a huge selection of products you know and products you’ll want to discover!  The second thing that our furry testers tried this month is the  @Fancyfeastcatfood Purely Natural Filets Cat Food Topper. A 10-count package is sold on Chewy.com for $19.99 and comes in chicken and fish varieties. It can be used both as a topper for your existing cat food or as a special treat. It's not meant to be the only food source. The packages are very easy to open and the chicken flakes apart very easily. I like that these are actual fillets and seem to be of good quality. #Pandora and #Selune were not quite as excited about these, but they were still a treat. I tried them both alone and as a topper. Honestly, when used as a topper, they just ate around their other food and ate up the chicken. Chewy is  #WherePetLoversShop  and they have a huge selection of products you know and products you’ll want to discover!  The first thing #Pandora and #Selune tested out this month was the  @Nutropetfood Cat Food. This is sold on Chewy.com in a package of 12 twin packs of pate style food. The flavors are  Real Chicken & Beef and Real Salmon & Trout. It sells for $17.89 which works out to $1.49 per twin pack or under $0.75 per serving. From a human  viewpoint, it looks like a pretty typical pate. There are a few obvious pieces  within the pate, so there is some texture. The  Real Chicken & Beef did not have an overwhelming odor. The  Real Salmon & Trout definitely smelled fishy, but not overpoweringly stinky. The twin packs work great for two cats because each gets their own serving. The portion size is just perfect... no waste! By all appearances... like the mad scramble to the kitchen when I open a pack... the cats really, REALLY like these. I even caught Selune nosing into our cabinet and trying to walk off with an unopened one! Never fear! #Pandora and #Selune were as spoiled as ever plus we got something for a future addition to our family.  We are planning to add a new pet to our household in the near future. We're still in debates over which would be the best fit for our family, but I wanted to get started on preparing for the newcomer. A cozy place to sleep seemed like a good start. The  Kaytee Cuddle-E-Cup Plush Small Animal Bed features an ultra-soft, padded faux fur interior and a durable polyester exterior, so it will be easy to clean and last for awhile. I was pleasantly surprised at how large this little bed is. It could easily accommodate guinea pigs, chinchillas, bunnies, puppies, kittens, and even a small cat. You can see it compared to a regular cat/ small dog bed in the attached photo. It is very soft and plush. I would love a blanket made of the faux fur in this bed! I was a little disappointed with how floppy it is. Some pets may prefer this but I worry that it would keep an animal from going into it. You also don't get to choose the color... you're shipped a random color from a large variety of options. Never fear! #Pandora and #Selune were as spoiled as ever plus we got something for a future addition to our family.  The first goodie this month was for our ever-spoiled Pandora and Selune. One thing they love to do is eat and the  @Iandloveandyoupet food  definitely seemed to be very well enjoyed! From a human viewpoint, the food looked like a pretty standard pate presentation. It had a strong but not overwhelming aroma. They all smelled  pretty similar to my human nose. The names of the varieties... especially "Oh My Cod" made me literally LOL. 🤣 The cats saw it in a different light. They couldn't get enough! It didn't matter what flavor I gave them, they were very excited. Even the usually quiet Selune was ready to climb my leg. The I and Love and You actually seems to have improved her appetite. Pandora is a bit upset with how good it tastes because Selune has been pushing to make sure she gets her fair share. Sorry, Pandora! 😛 The  I and Love and You Variety Pack Grain-Free Canned Cat Food sells for $12.63 ($12.00 on auto-ship) for a 12-can pack which works out to just over $1 a can. We received them free in exchange for our honest review. The first thing they tried was the @Temptationscats Holiday Dinner Cat Treats. I'll be honest... we usually stay closer to a raw food diet for our cats, but the holiday colors were too cute for the human to resist. It turns out the flavor was too much for the cats to resist too! They gobbled up the treats like candy. Pandora & Selune even worked together to knock the package off the counter to sneak some extra treats.
