Today I saw a dad pushing his little girl (maybe 3 or 4 years old) on her bike and she was wearing a tulle dress with the batman symbol all over, a batman eyemask, and helmet. She was COMPLETE batman and her dad was just pushing her tiny self along the path and she looked so happy, It was the cutest thing ever 😭😭😭

K so, unfortunately, my province has decided elementary schools are going back. But I just got a call from my associate teacher from my practicum and she wanted to know if I wanted to teach her K class for the rest of the year because her son is immunocompromised so she doesn't feel comfortable going back yet. It' not comfirmed yet but if the principal gives the OK, I will literally have gotten a teaching job RIGHT after graduating, with kids I already know and love!

There's this sweet old man who lives on my block and whenever I walk my dogs, if he's outside, he gives them treats that he has on hand and he knows both their names and my dogs have become so accustomed to it that whenever they see him they start running right to him, spoiled babies :P

POS hour: It was my former K student's birthday and his dad sent an email to the class asking for socially distanced birthday visits to his house. So I made him a card with a T-Rex holding a balloon (dinosaurs are the only thing I can draw lol) and baked some fudgey bars and dropped them off and he's so tinyyyy but he's six years old now! I miss my kids but I was so happy to see him!

POS hour: I made croissants from scratch for the first time and I was nervous because they're long and complicated and easy to mess up but they turned out perfect and buttery and flaky and possibly the best thing I've ever baked. Also, not saying I at five today but I may have eaten five 😬
