Chobits
Took me a while to finish this one, some of the episodes were slow & felt like filler. I don’t think this has aged very well, but I didn’t dislike it. The world and some of the themes in Chobits were really enjoyable, especially questioning all types of human-perscom relationships. On the other hand, I didn’t like Hideki or a lot of the silly scenes. They really could’ve touched on some deeper topics, and when they started to I was put off by the silly ecchi or “joke” parts. I thought Chi was super cute and I loved watched her learn and become herself. The end seemed rushed to me. They introduce a decent amount of new characters & some twists to the plot with only two or three episodes left, then it quickly wraps up. Overall, I think I’d give it a 6/10.
