What's this? A 4th part? Not really, more like a part 3.5 since it's more or less to quiet down my brain about using something specific. So we're gonna talk a bit about healing a noise and what that means for the noise

Healing a noise isn't easy, what they need to heal from their pained and broken form can sometimes be as taxing as using them. But just because it isn't easy doesn't mean it isn't worth it to untangle the damage and imbalances that cause the spirits corruptive natures and there pain.

Noises when they heal do not become a regular rumble, They become something called a murmur.

The murmur is very easy to note because there stabilized makeup shows the damage to there form. Both in there state of animal and there form as an armor

But those damages don't have to be ugly. In fact they're far from ugly. They're a sign of a murmur finding it's way back to the balance. It's a sign that it was broken that much is true. But it can also be a sign of beauty as much as it is a sign of survival

But it is also the sign of a bond between spirit and speaker that was so strong and so potent that the speakers own personal aura has mingled within and helped to repair the damage done to the murmur

The murmur itself is a bit unique due to it not housing itself in an item or a mark. The murmur houses itself within the speakers very spiritual core/heart. Becoming something akin to another spirit avatar

Did I make this to reuse an old idea? No actually it's so I could calm down my brain on using the bug organism stuff from battle network.

Did I end up tweaking the idea around by using an old idea? Yes.

Did I use this as a slight excuse to use the art of kintsugi in my system more often? Yes I did. As well as a little Segway for a later post.

Will I summon my council for this? Probably not.

And we're back! (Yay!)

For more chi power system talk (yay?)

Yeah it's been awhile. Some things were added and I'll cover that another time. But today I'm feeling mostly very spirit heavy this last weekend. And decided why not cover the interesting little spirits I made for the system that are universal to all the different types of chi(they all have an in power specific spirit they might deal with) so let's get this 3 part show on the road cause this ain't a one and done post. Nonono. It's just like my last one I did.

Today we start this off with the wispers(and yes this is in fact whisper spelled without an h)

Okay then let's see what I have for wispers.

Wispers are a light based animal shaped spiritual creature. Considered to be a sustained part of wild power that stands the test of sanitization. When in reality it represents the light part of all chi and ki(the new term I have.well get to that soon) The reiki(the bright side of the soul and ki. Representing the strict,transmitting and projective properties of emotion. One of the most important pieces of spiritual power.) the animal nature and shape of a wisper is due to that connection to wild power or as it's now identified as unstable and unharmonized ki.

Design wise they look like a fiery/wispy patronus but can be as small as a kwami(a spirit creature from miraculous ladybug)or as tall as a skyscraper. A combination of ancient wisps and the ethereal animals of light

The wispers create mainly powerful light formed weapons and weaponry to utilize their properties of transmission of emotion and push by fighting back against the negative or what is perceived as a threat. But it can be used to create some rudimentary(i.e semi simple) costumes or outfits at a higher level that will be discussed later.

(design wise they form weapons and even some tools similar to that of marvels dagger and the hunters of kpop demon hunters all wrapped up in an animal theme)

By there nature of pushing things away and even coming off as rejective of things may make it seem like the light of the soul is all bad or even just completely cold but it's not so black and white. Reiki pushes back and transmits emotions because it's the nature of the reiki to try it's best for itself and others to project emotion and energy,and push things back to sustain you no matter what(when we cover yoki we will see how it does it's best to sustain you and others.) Even if this means it's pushing back and coming off as a form of cold or being seen as overly strict. Reiki is not inherently bad or good. but it's effects and nature of how it operates can be dangerous in large amounts of use without balance. A balance that wispers also need to maintain. But can be helped by the hands of holders of one or by them using their limited access to their opposing type of emotional power(in this case that's reception/absorption). This is. Because If one is not careful they may overuse the power of transmission and project away more of their energy and emotion then they wanted or is safe to do. Damaging the wisper, the wielder and their sense of self. Making something much more akin to a hollow shell that has drained their batteries then someone valiantly using the powers of the light of all ki and as such the light of soul.

At a higher level with no combination with the negative darkness of rumors a whisper evolves Into a roar. The second stage of this light like spirit that's extremely strong. This new form has even more access to receptive abilities. Able to use them as easily as a low level rumor or even a sentiment(creatures that are the spirit energy unique spirits. We will discuss this when we discuss the chi specific creatures) and often have a special calling card in the form of animal themed jewelry and accessories like rings,bangles and necklaces

Wispers feature a cool toned color scheme for themselves.

A whisper may partner themselves up with a mystics(the harmonic fusion of spirit energy and magical energies) or will be sought out by them. In both cases it's to cover for something they searcher lacks.

Wispers are often also seen with many other magic users due to arcane chi having heavy ties to yoki.

Now am I covering rumors and the like tonight?

I have talked so many of your guys to probable death and revival about wispers and rumors and how they've evolved but this is the definitve. Final drafted form so I can put it to slight rest.

And to my newest recent friends hi! Welcome to the ' I summon you because you're a friend and I wish to proudly show off to you' squad I made up. Or the squad as I call it(sometimes the council)

And it comes down to one more energy. Spirit chi or spiritual energy/power.

For a few reasons this one was kind of annoying to do so.

Spiritual power has a bit of a different origin compared to it's child energies magic and psionics. Current day spirit power is what was once called the 'wild energy' a sort of precursor to proper ki manipulation. It was powerful, chaotic, and very themed around beasts and animals in all facets of power. But due to it's unstable, sensitive, and corrupt able nature something had to be done. And with time current day spirit chi or spiritual power/energy was born.

It's the energy associated with emotions or the heart as opposed to magics body and psionics brain. It's also the middle of the road between the 2 energies and could be considered their parent energy in a way.

Spiritual energy itself operates much less strictly then it's children energies and much more flowy like it's ancestor energy ki. This energy usually operates with frequencies and shifting around(think of it almost like a sliding light switch/dimmer switch in that way) It could be to shift this spiritual energy to the physical world or to delve even deeper into places unseen. or simply to change there spiritual static/soul or heart song from it's positive to It's negative instead and vice versa. Changing what emotions might be fueling your frequencies and forming that current melody. the energy also can shift around without your input(even in minor ways which was part of what led to the many complications in the past with wild power and it's similar frequency touching.)

Much like the children energies, spiritual chi has it's own chi vessel. However unlike the arcane anchor or mental website the spiritual core/spiritual heart/astral heart is not only mandatory but is already there. usually the core is nestled within the same area as the heart for a human body but it can be formed in other places(usually those places are along the path of the chakras. Some can even form multiple smaller spiritual cores or form them within the chakras seemingly boosting the energies potency with items relating to that chakra.

Spiritual chi best adheres and sticks to items that are made from crystal or items of great emotional significance or value. The more sentimental the item is the easier and longer it can take spiritual power. Even generating small amounts of it itself. Crystal also seems to do something to the frequency skimming and wandering properties of Spirit energy and almost ground them.

Part of the way people of the past learned to 'tame' and turn spiritual power into a safer energy was to implement a sort of set of guides for other spiritualists and channeler of spirit power to follow in order to properly channel it into a purpose. They were called The 5 sheaths

Don't think of the 5 sheaths as being the same as the 6 schools of magic or the 4 psionic neurons, they're a little different. Imagine the 5 sheaths almost like the instructions of a recipe card rather than a branch to the power. You've been given the instructions and steps to get there and it's up to you to get there. Not every Spirit chi manipulator even needs or uses these guidelines. But many do. Eventually with enough use and practice you need to think of them consciously. Think of the sheaths as having a bit of each other in them but this was how they were classified.

But what are these 5 sheaths?

The physical sheath

This sheath is the layer for the physical form and manifestation of spiritual energy. Both as the shape of constructs and any form of spiritual element or flow in the energy you might create due to the adaptability of spiritual power.

The energy sheath

This sheath is the layer for tapping, skimming and otherwise and wandering around energy frequencies and energy fields themselves, Both spiritual and otherwise. It's also the layer for infusing your energies into objects or others and is heavily tied to spiritual auras interactions with fields of electromagnetic energy(spiritual energy layers itself right on top of radio waves used for entertainment and often crosses and interacts with it) and the interactions of others. Despite being the layer most associated with energy and aura itself it's not the only one doing the heavy lifting. But it does allow for shifting around different frequencies for spiritual energy and infusing fields of power. But what other layer helps the energy sheath?

The mental sheath

Despite the name the mental sheath isn't a layer relating to the mind as it's the layer related to empathy itself. In addition to being the layer relating to all things empathy and empathic (such as being the main layer to interacting with reiki and yoki the dark and light sides of empathic energy as well as the 2 energy field halves of ki next to energy sheath).. It's also the layer of concentration. Forming emoplasm from spiritual power and forming the shades of your empathic palette of color(purely for aesthetic purposes) and how you cast power. By feeling all with empathy or shutting yourself off from it all with apethy.

The wisdom shaath

This is the layer closest to the mind and therefore psionic energy this layer itself is all about sensory abilities and perception. How you and others feel,see,or otherwise perceive involving your energy and the auras of others(such as seeing people's auras or the abilities of clear senses) heavily tying spirit energy with psychic energy

The final sheath is the bliss sheath

This is the most locked and otherwise blocked layer of spiritual power that makes it rather difficult for channelers to guide energy to it. An instinctual fear of the layer seemingly embedded within making it just all that much harder to let it flow with the other 4

This layer is the layer of your inner animal/soul self. The truest and freest form of spiritual energy that once unlocked often makes someone feel one with themselves in a way they never did before. True pure bliss as you connect and bond with the inner parts of your soul you instinctually leave alone out of fear.

This layer could be considered the first step to potentially learning how to harness ki. Once unlocked it allows you to bare your soul in multiple forms and even unlock and take the form of your inner beast/astral avatar.

Of course baring your soul out in such a fashion can be dangerous but otherwise manageable. An interesting change within one's spiritual power manifestation seems to take the form of animal and beastly applications much more easily than anything else. Like dragon bodies with your fists or bird claws to constrain others. And makes it much easier to go around the astral plane/spiritual worlds and pockets.

Since The most common form spiritual energy can usually take revolves around music or otherwise sound(no surprise there) it's no surprise that the energy is evenly good with the channeling method of incantation and movement. And especially good with rituals and offerings(the use of items)

Spiritual power takes the form of pastel colors.

To generate spiritual power you need only 2 things. Intuition and purpose.

Spirit energies emotional makeup is why it's often heavily or easily tied to things like music or noise/sound(one of the easiest ways to convey emotions) it also matches there frequency based things(funny enough everything from spirit power has a sound and spiritual power always has a song to speak out)

Overuse of spiritual energy is very taxing on one's emotions. Leading to allot of emotion meltdowns or sensory overloads, even moments of paranoia and possible inability to feel certain emotions for a moment in time.

And of course. As the parent energy of a physically and mentally taxing energy there are some possible moments of fibromyalgia and seizure like symptoms that are possible for going even farther then that.

And that's spiritual power yeah I didn't think I'd be able to explain this right and I hope I did. Hope it doesn't seem restrictive or too messed up.

You know... I'm not feeling great today. And I need a bit of a win. So what do I do to have a win. Make a chi power system post.

It's critters and creatures after ki spirits volume 1! 🎊🎉

Now before I go too deep I will go ahead and do a quick recap on all the ki spirits/ki spirit terms since that's the first critters we got. And today we're focusing on the assistant/more friendly ones.

Wispers=animal shaped light weapon spirits made from reiki with minor reception power. Has a second level they transform into when they've stretched their abilities in reception.

Rumors=animal shaped dark clothing spirits made from yoki with minor transmission power. Has a second level they transform into when they've stretched their abilities in transmission.

Roars=the second level of a wisper, has reception power on par with a rumor.

Gossips=the second level of a rumor, has transmission power on par with a wisper

Noises=corrupted ki spirits that are unbalanced and acting with pure animal rage, instincts and base purpose.

Rumbles=the harmony of light and dark ki spirit. Often acts as family/home/individual guardian spirits

Murmurs= scarred but rebalanced ki spirits. Damages stand out but so do their recovery marks.

Speaker=the term used to label a holder/wielder of any type of wisper or rumor or rumble(one of our discussion topics today)

With that taken care of we can move onto newer information. I brought In all information on ki spirits because they are related to this in a form.

Now we have ki spirits yes. But we also have other types of spirits and creatures that come from the various chis. This will touch on the 3 types of chi spirits that exist. A type of spirit that any ki spirit could transform into(seeing a pure and normal ki spirit is pretty rare in modern day)

Staring off with spirit energy itself we have the inner animal/astral avatar

Inner beazts or astral avatars are the ultimate level of mastery over the power of spirit itself. The ultimate sign of you knowing all of your soul is that you've considered the instilled fear that blocks spirit energy channelers from meeting there inner beasts in a large capacity

An inner beast is a very simple thing really. Within every functioning soul there exists an inner animal. This little animal could be considered your best friend. They might even have been considered an imaginary friend at one point. This is your inner beast it is all parts of you but most importantly for spirit energy, it is the very combination of all your instincts and intuition. This inner beast will often grow alongside you and will contact you in any way it can. It's not abnormal to find a channeler had somewhat had multiple inner beasts as they are parts of you after all, But Usually They don't consciously make permanent extra avatars. But there are exceptions.

A wisper or rumor has the potential to 'evolve' in a way. Transcending it's previous form and becoming an entity of spirit energy by being bound to the channelers soul and nestling itself inside the spiritual heart/core of the channeler(just like any other inner beast you might have) it isn't just ki spirits as stray broken parts or pieces of magic and psychic spirits might find there ways into the soul and form one and this time you are making it consciously as you will find yourself forming or assisting it within trances and dreams. Shaping it's form with purpose as much as your intuitions and instincts fill in what's missing. One might actually invoke another part of there soul(or otherwise known as make another inner beast for temporary time) with the use of invoking specific purpose. Even these you could consider these more like extensions of your main spirit animal. And these extensions might not even always be animals. They could items of great significance to you. Anything to guide you

To channel and otherwise invoke your souls spirit animal or animals without the use of outside items(like the mystics and mediums do) is considered the highest kind of power for any spirit energy channeler.

Magical energy or arcane chi more often then not have to make their familiars consciously.

These creatures are much more often consciously made as they need to be carved into an animal shaped vessel. This vessel is often wood or even rock. Once inscribed with the proper arcane language for the element that familiar should invoke the ritual used to bring them to life will occur. If all steps were done correctly you have formed an arcane familiar.

These little magical ones are your classic witches familiar but in a golem like body. Able to do there own kind of elemental magic in it's purest form and can even assist and combine with our magic spells for an extra buff up. And just like inner beasts the ki spirits can become familars.

This is typically the result of them forming or a martial shell around themselves or having a shell get formed around them by time. Leaving something akin to a dormant and sleeping spirit as the later. This is how unintentional or not fully carved familiars get made as a mage might carve the figure's shell and ritual it to life. Fusing the spirit inside and making the golem anyway. But a ki spirit they can also just as easily possess the materials or completed figure before the ritual or the carving.

It is recommended you do not grant a familiar more than 2 elements and ensure your arcane runes and symbols are properly connected to maintain the creature's integrity and keep it from getting corrupted,sought after as a prize to be stolen,or break apart from sheer power of the elements fighting for dominance.

We have one more piece of pure friendly spirits today. Fantasies

Fantasies are the only chimeric spirits that seem to exist. Being creatures from the realm of dreams and nightmares. These manifestations of pure psionic energy Are some of the strangest applications of spirits within chi and ki. Being both friend and foe. As they could be your friendly guiding spirit but they could also be a dangerous enemy. Really something like this is only seen elsewhere in ki and that's because of a specific breed of ki spirit. And a pretty nasty one at that called distortions.

These chimeras of dreams and willpower form themselves with pure psychic energy truly showing the power's of the mind by being formed from willpower,dreams and pure psyght(or concentrated psychic energy) which in of itself is an energy that's always moving and seems almost alive in certain ways.

These creatures often come with many patterns, as like familars these creatures just so happen to be able to assist with the neural webs 3 load bearing strands. While their main body produces a dotted star like stellar theme they will often be decked out with a symbol or a few that represent what branch of psionics they represent. It could be a simple eye for telepathy or a wave for kinesis, or even bringing in some dreamy clouds for teleportation. Whatever the case is these creatures are a unique edition to the line up of spirit's the only thing about them that makes it hard to find them is that they spend their time more often than not inside the realm of sleep and dreams. Meaning you most often will not find them on your own and if you do it'll be a toss up on if you remember the encounter or even think it's real.

One thing to note is that these little ones often are created as imaginary friends and often don't get marks from birth. But by specializing in that field of psionic study.

Ah back to the chi power system. And it's something I personally I suck at having hard decisions for... ✨ Items ✨

Now it's not because I think my ideas suck(it's not that kind of issue for once even if it slightly creeps up it's bashed away by friendship. Remember folks friends can often bash your insecurities away with a few words of encouragement and perspective.)

The problem is I have too many ideas that sort of take over and clog it all.

The mind will be like. 'we have this neato idea for the supportive items for our power system. We can base it off the types of good luck charms like charms,amulets and talismans. It'll be amazing.'

'what about those medallions from tmnt 03s tribunal season?

'Sure we can do that.'

'the 3 Japanese imperial treasures could fit your 3 energy systems.'

'y-yeah it could.'

'oh! And those cool animal themed miraculous jewels and the Jackie chan talismans!'

'Uh-huh?'

'you talked to your friend about possible masks that house fox spirits?'

'what were these items for again?'

It ends I like that thank you inner Mikey for being a chaos gremlin that all artists might have.

But critical restraint issues and self complaints aside we're gonna hoof this up with a 3 part series. For the supportive items in this ki power system

Why 3 parts? Because why not do it in pairs of 3 this system loves the rule of 3 if it can get away with it!

The wild shamans of the wild days didn't just sit around and wait for their chaotic handling of ki(or the beasts power as they might call it among many names) to destroy and or corrupt/mutate them. No, they did attempt to channel and control the power they harnessed. And to do so they first tried to create an object that could harness the chaotic beastial power within by channeling a certain kind of animal.

These were called the beasts emblems. And could be considered the very first product in the ancient series of ki supporting items known as the beasts treasures

A beasts emblems was an item engraved with the full unbridled brunt of ki. All aspects of it were infused into the vessel object that would not only bare the symbol of an animal the engraver wanted(typically it was the easiest to engraver your inner animal/inner beast aka the inner wild side and savage form/forms of your soul), but also carry it's own ki signature to use in tandem with the wielders energy. These emblems held within them often unique powers that the wielders could call upon. Once again based on their engraved animal. 2 powers per emblem was always the safest way to breach the limit. Any more could make the emblem dangerous.

The pure concentrated animalistic energy within an emblem not only could attract and hold different manner of 'inner beasts' but also spawn its own form of 'spirit' called the emblems echo. A form of inner beast that manifests all on its own within the emblem. Basing itself off of either a previously hosted spirit or the emblem's animal engraving. Which ever one is strongest at the time of the echos creation.

Eventually however, a problem was discovered with this channeling tool. It was discovered it could hasten ones painful corruption or transformation, even taint there ki or if it began to absorb within them(which it would. Both consciously and unconsciously) or could possibly crudely shape and mold there ki to match the shape of the emblem if they didn't match the emblem. With no ideas on how to safe guard it yet they had to stop making emblems and instead they had to split up the power between the 3 main beasts treasures

Each treasure was dedicated to a specific problem that was faced within the individual. So a weaker but more personalizable item for those who could not handle the power or safeguard against the emblems. These treasure would often help with allowing the ki channeler to understand a certain aspect of their inner beast they drew power from. The item corresponded to Something they lacked and acted not only as a focuser to understand them. But also as a safeguard,protector against certain aspects of those parts.

to better understand the instinctual senses and ways of there inner beast they would enscribe themselves with the beasts heart . Something that corresponded with the ancient ki icons of old. Often making them appear as permanent tattoos. The heart also safeguarded from channelers being consumed by rapidly powerful bursts of emotion and instinct.

For those who needed to understand the strength of there in er beast. Physical or otherwise they would possess the beasts body this would also safeguard their body from getting extremely mutated and corrupted. Locking their form into their desired human to humanoid form if desired.

And those who wished to understand the minds and often impulsive or instinctual decision making and focusing of the inner beast they would don the face of the beast something that would also safeguard there minds from possession of animal impulses and decisions. To allow them to focus and hold on their sapient mind from becoming too chaotic and unstable.

Each of them invoked something from the beast. Something that you might notice relates to the very gifts that ki enscribed within the energies that split off from it.

Spirit energies ties to kis sensory abilities and sensations

Magics energies ties to kis beastial form and strength

And psionic energies ties to kis pure instinctual knowledge.

A thing to note is that these treasures still can spawn an emblem echo but it's slower to form and more often then not has a harder time overpowering and changing you.

Perhaps this doesn't make as much sense as it could. But these treasures did more than latch onto a specific aspect of ki. It latched onto specific energies to help balance out any energy you might lack yourself. This is how they safeguard and balance you while helping you get close to that part of it. The kart you might lack to get to yourself or might just be curious in getting to further in touch with.

Do I feel self assured by what I just wrote... Not as much as I wanted to but I'll never be perfectly satisfied. Better to make something satisfactory in some way rather than hold onto it and try to make it perfect or try to make it something insanely in-depth. The point of this system is each component is relatively simple and together you can make something complex with it... I think.

Oh well they aren't that bad I just ran out of stuff for the psionics analog item so I feel like I floundered or copped out but we all know I didn't. Lemme know if you liked what I tried to do for the masks. Anyway.

So it's very close to midnight as I write this. And my brain decided it wouldn't shut up the idea of doing up the next part of this series now instead of later. So while this will probably be posted when I wake up so I'm doing it now. And probably gonna be messing with it in the morning too.

(p.s if anyone's wondering this got started at about 11:50 ish. But finished up nicely at 7:36 thanks to all my lovely ground work I did at night)

But From the light we move onto darkness. From the wispers we move onto the rumors

A rumor is a shadow based animal shaped spirit. And much like their light counterparts are often considered a maintained piece of the old ways of wild power. Rumors themselves are powered by the darker side of all chi and ki, the yoki (the darker side of the soul and ki. Representing the receptive and absorbing properties of emotion. And are similarly an important part of spiritual power as there light half)And are animal shaped for a similar reason to wispers by being connected to the old and unstable wild power

Design wise rumors have a more fluid like and weighted structure the wispy and ethereal form of a wisper. More akin to a liquid or slimy shadow.

(design wise they're a blend of 2 things. The chibi mutated looking nightmares from an MTG picture and the animal themed heartless from kingdom hearts)

Unlike there light counterpart these dark spirits do not form weapons to attack and utilize there power but rather form covering objects. Cloaks,masks,headbands,clothes of any kind. But at a higher state of power can even form very gooey shadowy weaponry. But for a rumor there garbs are the weapon. And not in a traditional sense.

(function wise the rumors covering power is heavily based on cloak and the symbiote race. Its clothing and coverings are just as animal themed as wispers weapons and tools)

The nature of yoki and therefore rumors is not to push but to pull, Not to give away but to take, not to transmit things but to receive them. Due to yoki being the receptive and often accepting part of emotions it can lead to a similar thing to reiki. Much like how in many circles reiki might come off as strict and rejective because of its actions of transmission yoki might come off as nothing but being accepting and even calm or impulsive. But it isn't the full story. Much like how reiki and it's transmission was not as cold as it seems yoki itself is far from harmless. The nature of receiving is also the nature of absorption. The dark is not picky about taking things in and receiving them. It could be receiving your pain just like it could be absorbing your happiness into itself. In the end just like how reiki and wispers is not inherently good or evil the same applies to yoki and rumors . But is dangerous in large amounts.

It's high level second stage dark spirit form is the gossip. And in this second level of darkness they can now form there rudimentary(simple) shadowy weapons with a more powerful transmission ability on par with 1st stage light spirits and beginner reiki

The power of yoki can be somewhat addictive due to the rush you get from the draining on people and other spirits. But the damage you could get from too much reception and not enough transmission is different to the hollow feeling you can get from transmitting too much. it can clog you and make you confused on your own things and nature without proper anchors and projection.

Much like how light could be seen as cold and dark could be seen as kind there's a flip side. Because of the natures of reiki and yoki a rumor can often be heavily mistreated and often seen as a weapon or plague and a wisper overly spoiled or arrogant due to being seen in a light more akin to divinities or angels.

(note that both sides of the extremes are extremely damaging to one self and the spirits. Leading to some pretty bad damages. Extreme consequences we will cover later)

Rumors are often seen with many mediums(like mystics a medium blends and harmonized psionic energy and spirit energy)and in just like their counterparts they often like to partner with them due to covering for something they lack.

And just like magics ties to yoki, psionics have ties to reiki that make them prime partner material for the dark spirits.

Rumors and yoki feature a warm toned color palette for themsleves

Much like a roar taking on the form of jewlery accessories a gossip takes on the form of facial covering items. Making a permanent object that seems to better harness and channel there powers that's often made from the materials of whatever object they once possessed as a rumor. The calling card for gossips are often masks,headbands,and other sorts of accessories meant to cover the face or head

Alright we covered savage treasures made to help with controlling or knowing about your inner beast and cover what you lack.

We covered energy gems that come from within ones body and not only show how the naturally messes with it's energies but learning to focus those individual energies that popped up.

There is only one type of item left. The most modern item of them all and the special term for all of these supporting chi and ki items. The totems

The term charm itself applies to all forms of item made from, made for, or used to help with. Ki or chi. It's a term used to describe all other items we've already covered before now. This class has often been called charms but the more accurate term would be totem.

And has a whole host of item terms deep within it that we're gonna cover a little today.

There's 2 types of totems the talismans and the amulets

Talismans and amulets almost function as a sort of yin and Yang with each other with what they usually represent.

A talisman is an object that's made to attract and bring things to you or somebody else. As well they're the main offense if you will. Not just giving you things but letting you use them as offensive techniques almost in the form of a portable spell or technique if they were created right. And amulets are objects made to repel and push things away from you or somebody else(the perfect way to help mitigate or lessen energy stress and other conditions/side effects one gets from ki and chi). They would be the shield to the talismans sword. Protecting and warding while the talisman brings something(now where have I heard of that relationship with push and pull before?)

Within these 2 main types of totems spawns many variations that are made to do something specific. And as such you get a few verities.

Such as the seal (object made to freeze and imprison/contain whatever is locked into the seal or is covered with the seal )

Seals are basically the jailers of the charm world. Prison masks,stone mini figures. Even a small technological object. Anything can become a totem(homemade or already made doesn't matter. All that matters is the totem weaver weaving the identity together) and that means anything could be a seal. It's not a complete lockdown as you can communicate with others on the outside usually. If the seal prison is damaged or something else messes with the techniques stability, the prison is null and void and the prisoner is released.

Totem weavers/crafters have even took the purpose of the ancient average treasures and either restore the item or made a modern rendition of the process. In either case these idols are not too different from a treasure. They're similarly animal themed, and allow for communication and unification of the spirit they house. And that can include ANY kind of spirit(include quite a few of those strange spirits of light and darkness we discussed. That is the name of a Wisper or rumors vessel, it's idol.

Just as we have 2 mains types of totems we have 2 main classification of totem.

Disposable totems are totems made to be used for a small amount of time and typically only one use and automatically destroyed when used.

Permanent totems are just that, totems made to last for as long as possible. Typically forever.

Typically you'll find a lot of talismans as one use paper tags and amulets as permanent pieces of jewelry or otherwise a durable object. But that's not always the case. There are many kinds of amulets that're not only disposable totems but are also made from things that aren't paper. And similarly there are many permanent totems that are made of papers and paper like materials or even fabrics. But are talismans

We now finally move onto the illustrious thing I once talked about. The ability to make an item out of your pure energy. The ki item. The manifests

Manifests is term used for turning your energy into something like an item(a very special item one might call an enchantment. A blessing or a curse depending on how the item is made and perceived.) While it's at it's strongest form when ki is used to craft this blessing or curse Different energy types have also been used. And can manifest and form the item different places where the manifest normally exists.

Magic manifests are often formed into Physical tangible item.

Mental manifests form as an item in the person's mental world/mindscape

And spiritual manifests take form and root within a person's soul and on their astral body/the astral plane.

tokens are the term for manifests when it's been gifted to someone. A true sign of someone's love or care for you is their heartfelt manifest that's the manifestations of that love and care.

Manifests are extremely personalized and must be careful when you make one. It doesn't come for free. You yourself are the material. You and your energies. Choose how you manifest wisely.

Word to the wise. You can weave in or place that manifest or manifest materials into a totem and make a very powerful vessel for both your wishes for that enchantment. And a stronger guide and longer lasting potency for both that enchanting the totems powers.

Well well well. Part 3 the same day as part 2? That's right! Strike while the irons red hot and right into the burning fire!

Thought before I do lemme give a nice little squirt hand for both you and myself. So we're all on the same page of what's what. Even a new word.

Wispers =animal shaped light weapon spirits made from reiki with minor reception power. Has a second level they transform into when they've stretched their abilities in reception.

Rumors=animal shaped dark clothing spirits made from yoki with minor transmission power. Has a second level they transform into when they've stretched their abilities in transmission.

Roars=the second level of a wisper, has reception power on par with a rumor.

Gossips=the second level of a rumor, has transmission power on par with a wisper

Reiki=the cool and light side of the soul and all of ki. Embodies the empathic aspect of transmission. Heavily responsible for advancements in psionics and holds domain in psychic power

Yoki= the warm and dark side of the soul and all of ki. Embodies the empathic Aspect of reception. Heavily responsible for advancements in the arcane Holds domain in magic power.

Speaker=the term used to label a holder/wielder of any type of wisper or rumor or rumble(one of our discussion topics today)

Okay. Terms done. Let's cover sadder topics such as ✨ consequences✨ but before that we have one more neat little topic to cover about the delicate but fair balance between these light and dark spirits

Roars and gossips might seem like they're in the clear of being unbalanced due to there new stronger access to there opposite trait but that is simply not true. Infact, they're at a higher risk of unbalancing at this stage due to there original abilities all getting a boost(including there born normal trait powers) as such, ki itself has given these stronger spirits a unique additional ability to ensure they can balance themselves when they need to. These 2 spirits have access to An inverted mode they can use to offset and balance themselves as they need. This mode might also become there preferred mode so you might find light spirits adept in cloth over weapons and dark spirits who make a mean weapon. this mode since it inverts them also prevents them from using there normal powers at the original level they're used to. And can only transform back when they wish to or if they've finally balanced themselves.

And now we go back to the ✨ consequences✨

If the spirit in question doesn't balance itself or find a speaker who can ground them and or heal there imbalances(such as a bright soul taking in a rumor) then the wisper or rumor can corrupt and become a very wild and often violent spirit called a noise

noises are what one could say truly represents the biggest representations of the wild powers and the wild era in it's rawest form. And that is Pure instincts and animal rage. But you wouldn't notice how dangerous they are design wise because well... They look very much like your classic spirit animal/animal aura that was prevalent for people back in the days of wild power. Simply put they looked like manifestations of one's soul and of your soul's inner animal. But that isn't always the case

And if you teamed up and become the speaker of one of these corrupt spirits then you're in some possibly extreme danger.

They have no real unique color palette to call their own but usually have a very strange feeling to them and often a feeling of something not being right about them. While they look normal they have certain 'quirks' in them. It could be anything from Multiple voices that overlap,some bleeding colors, reversed speech patterns,even looking more like a glitchy tape. They were glitches that could tell you something was wrong. If the feeling that emanated from these spirits didn't already set that off enough

When formed onto someone the nosie takes the form of an almost ghostly looking but heavily hardened armor. And it can be very consuming and taxing on you and the spirit.

(the look itself is very much reminiscent of a power ranger or... More like beast armor from marvel mystic mayhem. This armor is the perfect fusion of wisper and rumors attributes. Cover and weapon all in one all the time )

Any kind of wisper or rumor can become a noise if there left to be unbalanced. But how do we identify the cause of unbalancing?

The unbalancing I speak of happens when you let the traits of reiki and yoki go unchecked and ungrounded

If you don't add some of the reception of darkness to the light or add some transmittive properties from light to the dark, If you let them run rampant unchecked in there projective and receptive ways they can corrupt. Becoming something hollow,vein and hungry if it was a wisper or flighty,sensitive,and aggressive if it was a rumor. Flying off the instincts that are left from being essentially rotted out or left while confused and overly sensitive. And that's just the spirits. This can have a massive effect on you as well. Especially because the noise brands it's speaker with a Rather nasty and often painful mark that's called a noise brand. It too can corrupt and damage you in ways only seen by the wild and chaotic powers of the olden day.

But that's the dark side. And where there is darkness, there is light. Where there is unabalnce there is balance. And where there is noise there are also rumbles.

this saga of special spirits ends on a high note. For if you combine the light and darkness in perfect harmony you unlock the harmonized spirit that represents the pure and whole form of ki. The spirit of pure ki and a representation of the wishes of sentient life that communes with the nature of both man and animal.The rumbles

Rumbles have no color palette of their own but do incorporate more indigo into their colors(similarly to ki itself incorporating more indigo) and this spirit truly represents the full and polished mirror to the unbalanced and pained noises

Rumbles more often then not become something like a familes guardian or even a person's specific guardian/guardian of there specific branch (much more like a guardian spirit basically). They can stay with a person or family and protect them,guide them,and will more often choose someone personally as there speaker. And will leave themselves if they're being mistreated. And can fully outright reject bonding to others with less consequence and compromise than their component parts(if a spirit like the wispers and rumors are rejected too much they will fall to shreds. Rejection hurts their bonds and can make it harder to bond with others or even easier in some cases. But they'll always struggle to bond with the ones who rejected them.)

Rumbles have the perfect balance of covering and weaponizing prowess and power. But they will more often prefer to utilize the power they originally had before their harmonization.

Unlike there component spirits these guys don't leave you with a permanent item to wear but animal themed marks and icons on your skin. This is due to them being the exact mirror to a noise. Right down to there design minus the glitches/quirks.

And with that I believe this was it for this little batch of spirits. Idk when I'll post next time but I'm sure it'll be interesting.
