The cake isn't 100% perfect, but I'm still really proud of how it turned out!

Despite the fact that I can't stream this, I do want to show you all my progress so far, so...

This is my first time making a double layered cake since cooking class in school by the way... Wish me luck.

So uh. I guess I should show this to you all finally. (Months later but pssssh does it matter?)

This is from my cake decorating class in college. A labor of love and hate. I cried over this cake.

I also want you to know I couldn't pipe a rose to save my life the first 2 classes we did them. I was able to do borders well enough the 2 classes we did them.

Then I couldn't pipe the 5 petal flowers.

So if you ever feel like you can't do something, you can. You just have to put your head down and keep trying. Maybe you won't be like me, going from roses to forget-me-nots, to daisies, to camellias, carnations and hydrangeas. But keep going. You can do it.
