Day 18: Clown Another late post which I literally just finished drawing. Here's my sweet little toothy clown, Ernie C. Eckles! I have unfortunately never seen or read "IT", however, I've seen pictures of what Pennywise looks like. As such, for Ernie, I drew inspiration for his design from both Pennywise from "IT" and Twisty from "American Horror Story: Freak Show". I didn't want him to come out looking down right terrifying. Clowns are quite creepy to me, but I wanted Ernie to be non-human yet quite cute and friendly looking. So I gave him a huge smile of razor sharp teeth to show he's clearly not human, however, what with his pose and bright happy expression, he's definitely a friendly little clown. 13 days until Halloween!!
