This is FASCINATING worldbuilding! Tim isn't a Bat, and the Bats are such a different shape because of that. TIM is such a different shape because of it! Jason and Dick have SUCH a cool relationship that it deserves focus, even though it's a relatively minor part of the story. Love how concussions are actually a big deal. Just really interesting, and ... hmm, how do I put this? It seems like the allosexuals would find it hot. I'm enjoying it a lot, but it feels like some of you guys might get another whole level of enjoyment. I'm very happy for you if you do!

Okay, these guys aren't quite Jason Todd and Tim Drake, but they also aren't fanon Jason and Tim. They're really interesting OCs heavily inspired by the comics, and I found them fascinating! The worldbuilding is really interesting, both main characters are allowed relationships besides each other, the plot really grabs you - I think this fic uses both of its inspirations in really smart ways, and the result is very strong!

How could I not rec this?! It's THE fic that made me fall in love with the Tim/Jason pairing, and whilst it is a no cape!AU they (and everyone else) feel very much in character. It's just a fun read.
