yugi however is just like "mokuba you're not gonna court me, stop trying" which is the wrong thing to say because mokuba is a kaiba through and through and takes that as a challenge
he proceeds to learn every thing about yugi's tastes and his habits so he can leave him flowers at his desk, a hot coffee and breakfast delivered every morning, every new card he wants for decks before he can even try for them, obscure games from around the globe that he only allows yugi to take if he promises they play together, etc etc, all while flirting so blatantly every time he's nearby
yugi asks seto (who is aroace in this au) if he can forbid them being together but seto just wants his brother to stop bothering him with romance to be happy of course, so he instead says "yugi i do not care, you have my blessing, just go on one date with him who gives a fuck"
so he finally gives in and goes on a date and then is grumpy the whole time because he is having fun and mokuba is charming and he is not supposed to be the type who gets wined and dined by his rivals little brother of all people, and all the while mokuba's just there like :3c "we're totally going on a second date"
