La Costiera Amalfitana è uno di quei luoghi magici che, una volta visitati, restano nel cuore  per tutta la vita. Ma questo è risaputo.

Di tutta la Costiera, però, il luogo che, personalmente, mi ha affascinato di più non è la meravigliosa Amalfi o la pittoresca e coloratissima Positano, ma la poetica Ravello.

Senza nulla togliere alle più famose e rinomate località della Costiera, che ovviamente va visitata in lungo ed in largo perchè è un gioiello dalle mille sfaccettature, la poesia che ho respirato passeggiando per le contorte stradine che dalla piazza principale di Ravello portano allo spettacolo mozzafiato dei giardini di Villa Cimbrone non ha eguali.

Non c’è un momento migliore per visitarla. Di giorno è lussureggiante, invasa dai colori del cielo, del mare e dei fiori. Al calar del sole si scalda dei colori del tramonto e sembra voler accompagnare il suo ospite tra le braccia di una romantica notte, che si apre in uno spettacolo di lucine che riflettono sul mare.

I giardini di Villa Rufolo e Villa Cimbrone sono un assaggio del paradiso, con la loro ricca vegetazione e le loro terrazze, ognuna delle quali regala un impagabile vista su tutta la costiera, fino a dove l’occhio si perde

L’Hotel Caruso è il sogno nel sogno, la scelta migliore per godere della bellezza di ravello e dell’intera costiera. Un enorme palazzo dell’undicesimo secolo arroccato sulla scogliera più alta di Ravello: un capolavoro di architettura che si inserisce alla perfezione nel paesaggio e che rappresenta esso stesso un luogo da visitare.

  In questo albergo ogni dettaglio è un vero e proprio inno alla bellezza, da assaporare con gli occhi e portare dentro il cuore, per tutta la vita.

The Amalfi Coast is one of those magical places that, once visited, remain in the heart for a lifetime. But this is well known.

Of the entire coast, however, the place that personally fascinated me most is not the wonderful Amalfi or Positano picturesque and colorful, but the poetic Ravello.

Without taking anything away from the most famous and prestigious resorts on the coast, which of course should be visited far and wide because it is a multi-faceted jewel, the poetry that I breathed walking through the winding streets that lead from Ravello’s main square at the breathtaking spectacle of gardens of Villa Cimbrone is unmatched.

There is no better time to visit. Day is lush, invaded by the colors of the sky, sea and flowers. At the going down of the sun warms up the colors of the sunset and seems to accompany his guest in the arms of a romantic night, which opens into a spectacle of lights that reflect the sea.

The gardens of Villa Rufolo and Villa Cimbrone are a taste of paradise, with their rich vegetation and their terraces, each of which offers a wonderful view over the whole coast, up to where the eye loses.

The Hotel Caruso is a dream within a dream, the best choice to enjoy the beauty of Ravello and the entire coastline. A huge eleventh century mansion perched on the highest cliff of Ravello: a masterpiece of architecture that fits perfectly into the landscape, and that is itself a place to visit.
