Reading and posting from the Cafe des Arts et Metiers today, with a view of the Musee des Arts et Metiers courtyard across the street.
This is one of my favorite museums in Paris, really. It’s like a museum of the history of technology; they have stuff like Foucault’s pendulum, the Lumiere brothers’ first camera - even a replica of Lavosier’s laboratory. I always think about Combeferre visiting there & geeking out, which makes me really happy.
