February 25
What was on the plan: Rest What I actually did: Walked 3.61 miles on a Pokémon hunt this morning and walked 2.68 miles with RWD this evening for a total of 6.29 miles today. (Downtown Shreveport has so many Pokestops!) Notes: We had a glimpse of cold weather this morning with temperatures in the 40s! This was very exciting, as I have quite a few pieces of winter running gear that have been neglected this year.
Up next: 4.5 miles at a "comfortable" pace (13:30-14:26 min/mi). I might see how far I can go, though. I've never run more than 10K without stopping, so this could be interesting.
RWD is playing Watchdogs, which is set in Chicago. I love watching him steal various vehicles and run into everything. Tonight, he stole this taco van. There was a trash truck earlier. Also some swanky cars. (Since the game is set in Chicago, this post is related to my marathon training...right?)

What was on the plan: 4.5 miles at a “comfortable” (13:30-14:26 min/mi) pace What I actually did: 4.5 miles @ 14:11 min/mi Notes: I finally went for a run in the morning! I had hoped to hit 5 miles of straight running at the comfortable pace, but my pace was slowing, and I think my brain was just done, so I walked a little better than half a mile home for my cool down. I'm super proud of myself for throwing some hills in that I haven't trained on in at least a month. Getting better at running hills requires running hills, after all! Up next: Rest
