dont get caught up in being just an extra if acting is your dream. theres a big difference in those to jobs.
if you want to become an actor take classes, study acting, and dont give up. dont get drifted away by extra background work. Majority of the time people dont get into serious acting from background.
its an easy way to get on set, but if you loose focus of your goal, it can deter your dreams.

I never was a big fan of reality television. I understand why people watch it and I myself have been sucked into complete seasons of The Flavor of Love, but I could never understand its power. I mean, Jersey Shore's Snooki was on the cover of Rolling Stone last month for chrissakes! When I saw that on the newsstand I was both impressed and saddened. Saddened since there was once a time when I respected the magazine Rolling Stone and didn't gaze upon its covers in disgust, but impressed by the fact that someone like Snooki was that famous. That being said, any of you fame whores, wannabe stars, and jobless broke asses that are the least bit funny, interesting, or crazy, GO AUDITION!
