I, uh... I'm feeling very upset, right now - because of something that happened in Chicago. I'm not gonna show any part of the video, because the content is very disturbing. Before I go into detail over what happened, I must warn people that this incident involves kidnapping and... and torture. *blinks back tears* Okay, here is what happened. Four young black adults kidnapped a mentally disabled young white man and... and tortured him for hours. They were shouting things like "eff Donald Trump"... despite there not being any evidence whatsoever that the young disabled white man supported Mr. Trump... and "eff white people". And the actual f-word was actually uttered. No, uh... I don't understand how anyone can defend this sort of atrocity. I feel so bad for the young disabled white man. I would like to visit him and give him a great big hug, and show him that not all of us black folks are as monstrous as the ones who gleefully hurt him for hours. The only thing stopping me is that I'm afraid that I might end up traumatizing him, as I share a race with his four tormentors. This deplorable event, combined with the fact that he is mental disabled, I would not blame him one bit for being traumatized by black people - and this is what really upsets me. *beginning to cry* What were you thinking, people? What were you thinking? You may have succeeded in making a disabled white person terrified of black people for life! Is this what you wanted? Really, is this what you wanted? *later* This is how much this particular event upsets me on an emotional level. I am here to thoroughly condemn, denounce, and repudiate what these four young black folks have done. Maybe I'll give the victim's mother a call. I just want so badly to give him a hug.
