I always like to think Peter and Luke (both in hero costumes) are always impressed by eachothers abilities, but don't say it so they can keep the "I hate you but I'll hold onto you" and the "Your my enemy but we work together" kinda dynamic.
Also I personally think neither of them were planning to have a dynamic like that with another hero but their jealousy got the best of them somewhat :3

Okay if Luke and Peter were to find out about eachothers superhero-identities I feel like it'd be in the stupidest way possible, like Chicken mann/Peter gets like punched or smth (by a villain or ucm cos- they've fought before) and he tumbles to the ground and he falls at just the right angle for his chicken man hood to come off(cause let's be fr that thing doesn't look very sturdy+he found it in the trash) or like- Peter/Chicken Mann Spies on Unicorn mann/Luke(cos it seems like somethin he'd do) and just sees ucm going into Luke's house-
actually peter found it in the bargain bin at a costume store, and said that it's very cozy.
so likely it would take an uppercut to the nose for the hood to be loosened.

Not akin to ur current interest in Kirby games but I have been rlly into symbolism lately and I've kinda noticed things abt Ucm/Luke and Peter
- A unicorn is an obvious go-to extraterrestrial/fake animal that has magic and is often represented in media as colorful and friendly and in media is usually for kids (not always) that people use as some positive influence in a way, saying "You can be a unicorn!" Is saying you could be extraordinary and magical, they're also often associated with Rainbows but Ucms choice of purple instead of any other color (which is often associated with royalty, power, ambition but in media is associated with fear, mystery, and confusion [in amine's/animated shows most oftenly].) Which shows more humanity in the choice than anything, as we've seen multiple times where Luke is afraid but also curious about his power and has the luxury of being able to have something to explain it to him-?
- Chickens are a regularly used and exploited animal for their eggs and their meat, killed easily and you can find eggs and chicken easily sold in most places, also "chickening-out" of challenges is an often used phrase, eggs are extremely fragile in nature and there's so many ways you could cook an egg or cook chicken. Peter somewhat reflects that with his creativity in making the eggs and how he tries to come up with courage by debating with himself, despite Chickens association with cowardly behavior Peter throws himself infront of Ucm/Luke in the final fight with Dr. Ostrich to make sure Luke/Ucm can win the fight.
Peter's is probably shorter than Ucms/Luke's but I haven't watched Mc heroes in a while so my memory isn't that fresh 💔
