Chicken Fried Potatoes is a delicious dish that combines crispy potatoes with flavorful chicken. Perfect for a hearty meal or a satisfying snack.
Ingredients: 4 potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced. 1 cup all-purpose flour. 2 teaspoons garlic powder. 1 teaspoon paprika. 1 teaspoon salt. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. 2 eggs, beaten. 1/4 cup milk. 1 cup breadcrumbs. 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, pounded thin. 1/4 cup vegetable oil. Optional: chopped parsley for garnish.
Instructions: Fill a small dish with water and mix the flour, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper together. Whisk the eggs and milk together in a second shallow dish. Put breadcrumbs in a third small dish that is not deep. Mix the flour and eggs together, then dip the potato slices in them. Finally, cover them with breadcrumbs. Put the vegetable oil in a big skillet and heat it over medium-high heat. It will take about 5 to 6 minutes per side to cook the chicken breasts until they are golden brown and fully cooked. Take it out and set it aside. If you need more oil, add it to the same skillet and fry the potato slices for about two to three minutes on each side, until they are crispy and golden brown. If you want, you can sprinkle chopped parsley on top of the chicken and fried potatoes before serving.
