My dad always called it “chicken Murphy” and I don’t know why - the essential ingredients are a protein (he chose chicken and thighs, and I’m pretty sure he knew what he was doing), and the key ingredient to make it “Murphy” (for reasons I still don’t understand) is bottled hot cherry peppers with the juice.
