Chicken Pepper Bacon Melts are a tasty dish made with soft chicken breasts, crispy bacon, sauted peppers and onions, and melted pepper jack cheese. This dish is simple to make and tastes great, so it's great for a quick dinner during the week or a casual get-together with family and friends.
Ingredients: 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. Salt and pepper to taste. 8 slices of bacon. 1 cup shredded pepper jack cheese. 1/2 cup diced green bell peppers. 1/2 cup diced red bell peppers. 1/4 cup diced onions. 1 teaspoon garlic powder. 1 tablespoon olive oil.
Instructions: Warm the oven up to 190C 375F. On both sides, salt and pepper the chicken breasts. Cook the bacon in a pan over medium heat until it gets crispy. Take it out of the pan and place it on paper towels to drain the extra oil. Break up the bacon into little pieces. Add olive oil to the same pan and saut the onions and bell peppers until they soften, about 3 to 4 minutes. Add garlic powder to the food. In a baking dish, put chicken breasts. Put peppers and onions that have been sauted on top of each chicken breast. Then add crumbled bacon and shredded pepper jack cheese. After the oven is hot, bake for 25 to 30 minutes, or until the chicken is done and the cheese is melted and bubbly. Enjoy while hot!
