With soft, seasoned chicken, fresh vegetables, and a creamy, tangy sauce, these Southwest Chicken Wraps are a tasty and easy-to-make meal. Great for a quick dinner or lunch!
Ingredients: 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. 1 tablespoon olive oil. 1 teaspoon chili powder. 1/2 teaspoon cumin. Salt and pepper to taste. 4 large flour tortillas. 1 cup shredded lettuce. 1 cup diced tomatoes. 1/2 cup diced red onion. 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese. 1/4 cup sour cream. 1/4 cup salsa. 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro.
Instructions: Season the chicken breasts with chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken breasts for 6-8 minutes per side or until cooked through. Remove from heat and slice into strips. Warm the flour tortillas in the skillet for about 20 seconds on each side. To assemble the wraps, place a tortilla on a clean surface. Add a handful of shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, red onion, and sliced chicken strips. Top with shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, salsa, and chopped cilantro. Fold in the sides of the tortilla and then roll it up tightly, securing with a toothpick if needed. Repeat with the remaining tortillas and filling ingredients. Serve the Southwest Chicken Wraps immediately, and enjoy!
