With this recipe, you can make your own tasty Chick-Fil-A chicken sandwiches at home. It's a favorite fast food item that you can enjoy whenever you want. It has soft, crispy chicken breasts with a hint of pickle flavor and is served in a soft bun.
Ingredients: 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. 1 cup dill pickle juice. 1 cup milk. 1 cup all-purpose flour. 2 tablespoons powdered sugar. 1 teaspoon paprika. 1/2 teaspoon salt. 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper. 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder. 4 hamburger buns. 4 slices of dill pickle. 1/4 cup vegetable oil for frying.
Instructions: Place chicken breasts between two sheets of plastic wrap and gently pound to even thickness about 1/2 inch. In a bowl, combine dill pickle juice and milk. Submerge chicken breasts in the mixture and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or up to 4 hours. In a separate bowl, mix flour, powdered sugar, paprika, salt, black pepper, cayenne pepper, and garlic powder. Heat vegetable oil in a deep skillet or frying pan over medium-high heat until it reaches 350F 175C. Remove chicken breasts from the pickle juice mixture and allow excess liquid to drip off. Dredge chicken breasts in the seasoned flour mixture, making sure they are well coated. Carefully place the coated chicken breasts into the hot oil and fry for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove fried chicken from the oil and drain on paper towels. Toast the hamburger buns in the skillet until they are lightly browned. To assemble the sandwiches, place a fried chicken breast on the bottom half of each bun, top with a slice of dill pickle, and cover with the top bun half. Serve your Copycat Chick-Fil-A Chicken Sandwiches hot and enjoy!
