So... the Memorial Parade was cancelled...

But we still have a couple things to do before the end of the school year! Whoever wants to perform at Step Up Day for all of the junior high youngins, let Mr. Hoover know and I will meet with you guys sometime before Step Up Day around 3 after school for about an hour. For those of you from the winterguard interested in spinning in the fall next year with the marching band, the informational meeting will be right after school on Monday, June 13th in the band room!

Memorial Day Parade

Hello there everyone! I hope you May has been going well. Next week on Thursday 5/26 there will be a parade rehearsal right after school with Mr. Hoover and I will try to make it or we might meet for a little bit longer after the band is done. The Memorial Day parade is on Memorial Day and the report time at the high school is 8:00AM. If you haven’t brought back your green/purple flag from Cage to the band room, make sure you do that as soon as possible please!

Spring Pops Concert is Cancelled

If you haven’t seen Mr. Hoover’s email yet, I just figured it would be smart to post this news here that the Spring Pops Concert on Thursday, May 12th is cancelled. We will still meet tomorrow (5/5) for a final wrap up meeting of our season and to also go over what we will be doing for the Memorial Day Parade. After tomorrow night, the next practice the guard will have is the parade rehearsal on Thursday, May 26th that I will try to make it too.

My Apologies

I am so sorry color guard about the miscommunication about Monday. I take responsibility and am also sorry about any inconvenience it may have caused. I will be there Thursday at 4 so we can run through and review before the tech rehearsal at 6. I’m also sorry that we have not met in over 2 weeks but I asked Mr. Hoover about rehearsal space yesterday but he never got back to me and I didn’t want us to end up with nowhere to practice but outside in the rain.

Wait... I lied

Good morning guard! Sorry I lied, we are not having rehearsal 4/28 because of the Banding Together Concert. Next week we might have a practice early in the week on Monday or Tuesday at 4 and Thursday we will also meet at 4 and rehearse on our own before the Spring Pops Concert tech. Even though Cage is over we still need to work hard to make the show even better for our last performance!
