sensei...help me!!!
Ok been turning this idea around in my head for a while and I think it’s very funny.
During the festival in p4, Kou mentions a school play and putting the IT in a school play (as a former theatre kid) is really fun. What play are they doing? TBD.
Rise/Teddie(assuming Teddie is allowed in the school play): they would be cast as the leads. This is a surprise to no one. Everyone involved is very happy about this. They have so much fun with it and it gives Rise the opportunity to enjoy performing without having a bunch of talent managers controlling her. Teddie tries to add in a few lines that aren’t in the script and they don’t make any sense but he gets talked out of it. They play off of each other really well I think.
Yu: hear me out he would make a really good villain. “Friendliest guy ever who plays a really convincing bad guy” is pretty common in high school theatre. Accidentally elbows someone kind of hard during a fake fight and keeps apologizing for it afterwards.
Yukiko: was the first of the non-theatre kids to join because it “sounds kind of fun!” Ends up getting a role with a few lines and she does pretty well! Messes up timing a few times bc she wasn’t listening for her cue.
Chie: agreed to audition because Rise told her about a cool fight scene she might get to do. Gets a pretty small part, but DOES get to be in the cool fight scene and even helps choreograph some of it! Tries reaaally hard to add as many kung-fu moves as possible even when that’s not the martial art they’re trying to portray, but she manages to sneak a few in there and it does look rlly good.
Yosuke: went along with it after everyone else agreed. Winds up getting a comic relief part, which he plays pretty well after the initial embarrassment wears off. He has a hard time memorizing lines. He asks for a line a few days before opening night and gets chewed out by the director, but ends up doing good in the end.
Kanji: secretly wanted a bigger part than the one he got, but he does do pretty well. Also has a hard time with memorizing lines, but he only has a few so he pulls through in the end. Once the play is over he tosses out the idea of maybe joining drama club. Helps make/alter costumes and props as well which helps a lot bc the Yasogami theatre department does not have a very large budget.
Naoto: was the hardest to convince and only joined because Rise said she could just do backstage stuff. She was asked to audition for no part in particular and tried to read lines with as little emotion as possible. Wound up being cast anyways because she “fit the part so well” and “has such good diction!” Also tries to act very unenthusiastic on opening night only for people to talk about how she really nailed it.
Who among the Investigation Team would have a worrying addiction based on blind boxes/gachapon figures?
Yu/Souji
Yosuke
Chie
Yukiko
Kanji
Teddie
Rise
Naoto
"Not a member of the Investigation Team, but..." (write in the tags)
*I'm talking any collectible gachapon or blind bags btw, NOT gacha games. Which one of them has a little shelf or a space dedicated to these collectivles and have a crazy amount of repeats too.
Reblog and you could tell me how bad their addiction is in the tags and what they would collect.
p4 photocards!
