24. A film you wish you had seen on the big screen.

I see so many movies in the theatre that I rarely miss out on seeing stuff, but two that come to mind are Interstellar (I still haven’t seen it yet and the big reason why is because it wasn’t made to be watched on a laptop) and A Quiet Place (didn’t have anyone to go with and this was before I started going to the movie theatre by myself) #ragrets

27. A film that was better than the book.

The book Fight Club was completely unreadable, but I did like the movie when I watched it. Also The Devil Wears Prada was better as a movie, although I did like the book.

34. Last movie that surpassed your expectations.

I see so many movies I think are going to be shit and then sometimes they are slightly above shit 😂 But the last movie that really exceeded expectations was probably Aladdin (2019). I thought that remake was going to be so cursed, but it really surprised me and I ended up really liking it.

YES, like he’ll crack jokes about straight people and it’s funny and it’s believable and it’s never discriminatory. and honestly a lot of the time, just the behavior/speech/general existence of a gay character is meant to be inherently Hilarious in this really exploitative/mean spirited way, and b99 is...never that
