There weren’t really any other projects that had too much of an impression on me or my remix. I do not think anyone else in my group used two separate vocal tracks playing at the same time which was what I was most concerned about when trying to make my song sound decent. I did, however, enjoy some of the other remixes my teammates created. Remixes in general usually interest me and my teammates did a good job mixing up existing songs.
For this project I went through my remix/mashup and made various changes to make it have a better quality sound. One of the main changes I made was going in and changing the equalizer settings so to make it sound less like jumbled noise and more like an actual song. I also made slight changes to the panning of the two vocal tracks to help achieve my goal. This helped a lot because as I was making this remix the first time I was worried that it would sound like a bunch of noise instead of how it sounded to me since I knew what was going on with the switching vocals. I also created an automation for the volume which I did not have before. Originally I did not know how to set an automation for the volume so I just changed the volume of specific sections of the song so this new method is much more efficient.
