I really like this moment and what it does to Chiemon's character. Chiemon thought his parent were in hell, and he probably think so because the sheer amount of brutality and flames in that era makes him no longer believe in the idea of heaven. But then he found out that his parent are nowhere in hell, and thus he can only believe in the idea that his parents must be in heaven. That the people who murdered unfairly goes to heaven instead of hell. That become his only salvation at the end even if he himself can't join them and can only walk into hell due his own sins.

Altered Jeanne saved him by not being her usual saintly self, but instead swallowed in the darkness and stayed with him. Rather than a holy figure untouched by the darkness, what he needed was a fallen figure just like him that willing to stick with him until the end. There's a moment in Blue Period manga where the character refused to be saved, because the people who tries to save are the ones who throw a lifebuoy from the safe place instead of throwing themselves into the sea. I think that's why it has to be Altered Jeanne who save Chiemon instead of regular Jeanne.

happy 1st anniversary to fate/Samurai remnant!

Thus drawing will be posted when it's gonna be the 28th on my twt but I really wanna post it somewhere.

This took me a week to draw! I'm busy with school and other stuff so I got like 2-8 hours a day of work for the last week. Crazy how I didn't get demotivated even once.

Now to praise the game ; I love it. I love it a lot. Firstly being introduced to it by a friend through a DnD campaign it slowly made me get into the Fate franchise itself. But samurai remnant will always stay my favorite entry in the franchise. The characters are amazing, the art and music are amazing and just everything about it is amazing. I really look foward to drawing more fanart for this game!
