I'm not an expert in Superflat (the japanese art style), but I've seen some similarities between Mononoke's artstyle and a few artworks of the style I've seen of it.

Usually people mention Ukiyo-e style as an inspiration to mononoke's style, but I wonder if Superflat is also another inspiration.

like Chiho Aoshima's work wouldn't feel that out of place in the show

on a side note, I find it cool and interesting how Michel Ocelot's background in his movies also share some ressemblances with some Superflat artworks.

So... Remember late last year when I wrote a Jujutsu Kaisen birthday gift fic for one of my friends who's obsessed with SatoSugu angst?

Well.

Would you believe me... If I said I have a second friend obsessed with angsty JJK bois?

And if, let's say — stay with me on this crazy thought, I wrote another fic. For their birthday. Which I posted late last night as soon as they read about it on their card.

Just a hypothetical, no real reason for the thought.
