37: What was your OCs first word?
Oh okay so this is one of my favorite headcanons and also a little sad anyway Tauriel’s mother died on a hunting trip. Nothing grand or dramatic happened, it was just a branch that wasn’t quite stable enough and a river that ran a little too fast. But little baby Tauriel was watching the clan send the hunters off and she reached out to hug her mother and said “Dareth shiral, mamae.”
38: Does your OC have any pets?
Pets is a bit of a stretch but Tauriel is very fond of the weirder mounts in the stables. The dracolisk, in particular, gets a visit from her almost daily.
39: Who is your OCs biggest enemy?
She would get a little smirk and answer this question “Guess it doesn’t matter, because he’s dead now.” But honestly she’s really got to deal with the racist nobility of Thedas. Nobles who understand she’s just saved the freaking world aren’t so bad, but the others who get all up on her case because of her heritage are really the ones getting in the way of the Inquisition’s progress. Maker help them if Tauriel ever got drunk on power and decided they were too much of an obstacle to deal with diplomatically.
40: What is the most ridiculous thing your OC has done?
Probably agreed to cards with Varric. Many games of Wiked Grace are played in the hallowed halls of Skyhold, and Cullen’s not the only one who lost all their clothes. (At least Tauriel knew you never bet against an Antivan!)
41: What is your OCs motto about life?
Leave it better than you found it is a good one. Tauriel likes to think small for someone who saved something so big. People matter to her. Little comforts and reuniting loved ones and comforting children are all high on her priority list.
42: Does your OC drink coffee or tea?
It’s not so much that Tauriel drinks tea but that if you get between her and her tea you’re probably going to regret it. She likes coffee but it is too bitter and she’ll only drink it when Leliana makes it (Orlesians might have ham that tastes like despair but they know how to make coffee taste like happiness).
