Nihan is one of the Couchsurfers who responded to my post about my Izmir trip. It was also she who hooked me up with the Turkish family with whom I am staying now for free in exchange of English practice. She did it, even before we met in person, just because she knew I was upset about my Airbnb. We finally managed to sit down together a couple days after I moved in to her friend’s.
