|| Rin was going to complain about Makoto carrying him in his arms, but before he could do so he noticed something. Being closer to the boy than he was before something caught his eye. "You know what's weird.. In my school there's a boy who looks a lot like you. He's my age though. But I'm not sure, I just transfered to the school and I'm still trying to memorize everyone's names you know. I think his name is... Tachibana-kun. He seems to be a nice guy. Maybe we'll become friends!" he smiles.
{♣} || At the back of his mind, he would have expected this from the young redhead. Despite being shunned in his present cold shell, Rin's actually a perceptive person no different from Haruka or even himself. But somehow, hearing the words from the boy while talking about him--withing the context of noticing and remembering-- it pulled some strings in his chest, all in a pleasant way.
"Really? That's strange, ne. I don't find many Tachibanas around here, so maybe we're close relatives..." Makoto chuckled lightly and smoothed the bangs out of chibi version of his friend right after giving them a ruffle, arms straining with the child's considerable weight.
"I certainly hope so... Rin's a nice, happy, thoughtful person... He deserves nothing but good friends, don't you think?" His voice got caught at the end of his sentence, especially that he knows what will happen after their 6th grade. If only...
