Hideki Taniuchi: Child's Mind
You sons of bitches better have watched Kaiji. You sons of bitches have better watched a disaffected young adult mature and evolve through remaining good in the face of both common and uncommon evil. You sons of bitches better have listened to the soundtrack. You sons of bitches better have imagined a tearful reconciliation between a man's rationality and his innocence whenever this track comes on. You sons of bitches better have some tissues ready.

My friend needs your help!
Do you like video games? Do you play them? If you do, could you answer this survey? My friend is a part of this student group creating a side scrolling puzzle-platformer video game for Stream, and it’s called Child’s Mind and your answers would help the development greatly! It doesn’t take too much of your time and it really would help! Thank you!

My Star Still Remains
I wrote this when I was fourteen and still experiencing life theoretically. Poetically.
I remember you, my star I stood by the window Staring into the inky sky Such a dreary horizon But there was you Twinkling back at me A sign of hope.
I remember how I felt When my whole world fell apart Crumbling like my heart I thought that you were gone For my eyes no longer sheltered you And even if you stayed I was ashamed for you To see me cry.
And I remember when I found love An infinite clarity To my clouded vision Though life has taken It has also given I learned of beauty I learned of pain I thought that nothing gold can stay But deep there in the weathered sky My lone star still remains.
We are all our own prophets - look back to your old writing and you’ll notice that before insecurity and heartbreak hit, you were nobody but yourself. Listen to what you used to say.
