Kid sewing! I brought down a sewing project because my husband was out of town working until late in the evening. So, I also got out some fabric previously meant for another project for my son to use. He had been telling me for a couple of days that he wanted to hand sew a pouch and these linen rectangles did the trick. My daughter also sewed on a few scraps with a tapestry needle and then played with the pins. She says that now she knows how to sew all by herself. 😍 It’s good being at this stage of mothering knowing how much you can just let your kids try things without worrying and how much they are learning by following their curiosity. After the pouch, my son saw a video that inspired him to add pom poms to a shirt. He says that they’re very soft and it’s like wearing tiny stuffed animals.
