You might be wondering that why I got away from social media for a while! Well, I have been busy doing photo project. I did collect photographs 2 weeks in a row with new techniques restoring original raw quality(nef) in jpg format. I have been so much focused to do this project as I did not continue my project last year due to some problems. I am back with new techniques and perspectives. When "Behind Brick Industry", a photo project was started 10 years ago, I was convinced or induced that there was so much time to portray the daily life of brick makers. The temporary migration made by them in order to make bread and butter. The shelter made by them on icy cold weather dreaming of earning so much than past years. The children who were missing an opportunity to go to the school.........To be continued. A short story about this photo now. On Dec 1, 2019, I had a photo walk at brick industry and I feel very sad whenever I see brick makers' children. Like when I saw this young kid playing all alone on sand. I asked what were you doing all alone here and he didn't speak a single word to me. I was stranger to him. And I asked a woman who was making raw bricks just a right of this kid. She said he is not our kid. He stays in other hut. His father had gone for other work and his mother was sick having rest inside the hut. He has no friend to play and was playing all alone today. I felt very sad about this boy after seeing his face and his physical appearance. Wish I could give him new clothes! I had nothing to give but gave my cookies to him to put smile on his face. He gave his best photographic stare to me and made my day. Well, I will be missing these happy faces. I hope their parents made enough money for the rest six months. Their immeasureable hard work is paid off now. N O S O C K S They don't have socks to get warm but they have sunlight to get warm and cozy. These kids who were enjoying rising sun on cold winter days at brick industry. I have no idea how they spend their nights in small temporary huts! Seeing them with their #slippers made me totally sad and their runny noses made me even more heart breaking. They all have flu. I L E F T T H E S C H O O L "I left the school". This is what she told me when I asked about her school name. Well, majority of the children who come at brick industry with their parents are having the same problem. They do not attend the school. Despite all the difficulties they are facing, at least their parents should send them to school. I don't think these children grow up physically and mentally very well. The environment is not good for them to grow up. At the time of going school, studying and playing with friends, they are stuck in the place where there is little chance of hope. W E A R E F U T U R E O F N E P A L Do you know? According to Nepal Education Board, my district, Lalitpur has 100 % percent education. Everyone goes to #School. No matter where they live, urban or village, they go to school. It is a good #effort that everyone is getting an opportunity to go to school. "Children In Nepal" Good Evening || Subha Sandhya #Nepal is the second poorest country after Afghanistan in south Asia. Now, you think where are we still? We have so many things to do to ameliorate the #economy of Nepal. Only the people from capital cities are able to say, we had a hygienic foods twice a day. Hygienic means Nepal standard foods....And you know how to define Nepal standard! How about the #future of young children of Nepal? Will they have foods #everyday? Will they get education for free? Will their #parents have good per capita income? Or the same situation remains as it is for next 2 decades? If you were born from poor family background, you have to compromise so many things in life. You have to drop out the school to support the family. You have to go Arabian countries for labor work to #support the #family. You have to work hard at the same time. Furthermore, you have to tolerate so much even in your work place. "A Boy's Feet" Good Morning || Subha Prabhat One day, while doing #photography in Brick Industry, I got distracted from this boy's feet and the #slippers he was wearing. Yes, #Photographers #portray #people in so many ways with meanings. The only #difference is how #viewers take that image? Its been so many years, I am also doing same.
