I'm not hating on all the people who took up for Taylor but you responded and agreed with a post that brought up a black women in order to protect Taylor. Op didn't have to do that just to make their point. The "other post" that you mentioned are saying everything that I pointed out in my previous message.

Yeah bc it’s true that some people who are now silent are silent because it’s Taylor and they don’t hide that. And I think that’s just as wrong as not speaking up for someone just bc of their skin color. 

Then calling out the people that do come to her rescue just because they don’t call out everything is just not right.

I think it’s wrong to decide 

“Well I don’t like that woman bc of who they are so they don’t deserve people speaking up for them.” 

A woman deserves people speaking up if she’s treated like shit. 

So yeah every black woman deserves the same stuff Taylor now gets. But saying that therefore Taylor doesn’t is not the way to go, in my opinion.

I have no idea what post you’re talking about. I don’t want anyone run to Taylor’s rescue who doesn’t want to, hell I am not even doing it myself because honestly I think that guy is a petty asshole and not a single one of his songs or the stuff he says deserves attention. Making countless posts on tumblr or tweeting him would only frustrate me because it would be like talking with a wall. 

Do I think it’s wrong that like you said “everyone is silent when it comes to the countless black women that Kanye has put down”? Yes. Have I any authority to speak about that topic in detail? No. Why? Because I am white and never experienced racism myself. Do I take notice of what he does and thus ignore that guy and don’t buy his stuff. Yep. 

Do I think that you should hate on all the people that now defend Taylor? No. Why? Because she deserves it too. Is it wrong that only she gets it? Yes. Does that mean we should be silent about it? No. Because then we would be silent about all of it and that does not help anyone. 

We should change something but change does not start if we silence people just because they’re not screaming about everything that’s wrong. We want the world to change but we have to understand that it will do so slowly.

again, my roommate never ever got blocked and had it on his phone for months end and nothing once happened. So maybe you had a shitty app idfk but there are many apps that work fine with sc and nothing happens. And because why would you be so trusting in someone who can’t even be decent enough to upload a video longer than 6 seconds with her entire face in it? In her videos she just cusses “is this what you fuckin want?” like...? seriously. her followers just want the truth instead of looking like fools
