I miss having “that couch”
Today was quite a fun day-- the best day this week actually :) I got to hang out with some interesting friends (one from Finland, another from Italy, and another from Sweden) & we decided to visit some of the places we were introduced to during our city tour the other day. I finally got to visit Albert Einstein's house, in where he lived with his first wife and two sons. Pretty interesting fella-- he even got asked to be the president of Israel during his lifetime.
We also went into a temporary exhibit in front of the parliament building which had an all-around screen showing Berne in its early ages. And it was in German of course, but judging by the audience's constant laughter & the host's comedic actions, it was pretty entertaining.
I also finally got to dip my feet into the Aare river. It's known for its fast-flowing glacier water and people love swimming in it! & its color is beautiful. Hopefully the weather in Berne stays nice long enough so we can eventually go swimming in the river too!
