You Owe Me || Vexen & Marluxia
Grinning excitedly, Marluxia set his phone down. Larxene’s costume had just arrived from the tailor’s. It was a maid costume sized so perfectly to his impish friend’s proportions, but this wasn’t just any maid’s costume. This was a replica of Magenta’s outfit and it looked like it could stand well against, if not better than, any stage production or movie set of The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Together, they’d make the perfect pair with Marluxia choosing to dress as Dr. Frank-n-Furter, but as excited as he was to be pairing up with Larxene this Halloween, after the last few years they’d spent apart, the group could not be complete. Not without a Riff-Raff, for what was Magenta without her Riff-Raff. And what was Dr. Frank-n-Furter without both of his deceitful servants?
But who, on such short notice, could possibly fill in the roll and be somewhat enjoyable to spend the festivities with?
With how fast he came up with a solution, the pinkette couldn’t decide if he was an absolute genius or a bit of a sadist.
Vexen would, surely, play the part well, but the mere idea of bringing Vexen into his and Larxene’s shenanigans provided a strong callback to their high school years and Marluxia couldn’t help, but chuckle at the memory. The likelihood of the science major agreeing to such a thing was absolutely zero, but the theater major was crafty.
Though he doubted Vexen kept the same phone number well after high school, Marluxia had no difficulty finding the blond’s new number within the student directory. What a notion-- to have to resort to actually using the student directory to find a phone number. How archaic.
He dialed Vexen’s number, smirking to himself. The man wouldn’t recognize the number, but he’d recognize his voice the moment he’d pick up the phone.
The dial tone rang for a bit longer than Marluxia would have liked and idly, he wondered if he had the right number, but sure enough, the other’s voice came through the line, sounding as annoyed as ever.
“Hello Vexie~ I’m calling in on a solid you-owe-me.”
