I nabbed a friend (@leeleelarsen) today and we ran the loop. In the cold, and the wind. We chatted about this and that - good days, bad days, kids, how things ARE and all that. Then we went our separate ways - off to shop, and cook, and make the fire, and drink tea, and - can I just say this out loud- I am so grateful for all of it. The bracing wind, the run-walk pattern I like to call "my wun", honesty and friendship, and a nice cuppa at the end of the day.
