Megumi. It meant blessing. Typically a feminine name, he nonetheless christened it to his newborn son at the time, to which his wife happily agreed with. There was a time he forgot that he was the one who gave that boy his name, but he remembers it clearly now.
Keeping himself out of his son's life was itself, a blessing. Megumi didn't need someone like him in his orbit. It was better that way. But fate, as it turns out, had other plans.
"Hey, boy. Have we met somewhere before?" Have they? The kid did look familiar. Dammit, there's that foggy part of his memory again. And the uniform... a Jujutsu High student? Oh, they were here too, then.
"A jujutsu sorceror eh? Guess you guys found your way here too, somehow. Guess this isn't hell after all."

Dam-bi was expecting Sukuna, so when she doesn’t and she sees someone else standing there, her heart skips a beat. Despite that though, she remains rather calm. She wasn’t like most kids who’d run off because they were scared. Then again, Dam-bi has always been pretty different from the kids in the village.
Another familiar energy.
And as if on cue, the tiny monster pokes its head right out from underneath Dam-bi’s worn but restitched Hanbok to study the young boy.
“...”
Hm, after meeting the man named Yuta, she isn’t sure if this one is ALSO an enemy of Sukuna’s. Her mentor must have a lot of those. Huh.

“Thank you for the books! I’ll be sure to return these once I get my own!” She steps out of the room and heads down the hall way. Ismael may have gone a little overboard, but really she has to keep up with her studies. She can’t JUST practice using her bow and arrow and play the violin AND piano. Or keep playing sports and having FUN. Studying is also very important.
Though....
Hm, maybe she should’ve just taken three books and borrow the remaining two next time. She has two books tucked underneath her arm and the other balancing on one free hand. She’s fine until one of the books on top decides to slide right off and fall onto the ground and from there, it’s a domino effect of one of the books tucked under her arm falling right after, “dude--” Ismael sighs with evident annoyance and lowers herself. When she does, the other book that balances on that free hand also slides, threatening to fall right onto the smooth floor of the university’s hallway. “Eugh,” Dropping the one remaining book from under her arm, she adjusts the second book that rests on top the first in the palm of her hands. “Should’ve gotten a bag if I was gonna take this much.”
