I'm still fiddling with the exact designs of my second OC gestalt, the chimeracons, but I do have their important details down!!

They are sympathetic decepticons, if not outright ex-decepticons outright!!

They have animalistic root modes like Ravage, but their combiner is (vaguely) humanoid.

Their names are Purrsuit (nitrotiger / black panther), Gumbomb (amphibiod / poison dart frog), Overbolt (singlehorn / alicorn), Archimedes (insecticon / hercules beetle), and Crossflare (turbofox / "cross phase" red fox)

They did not start out as a combiner gestalt, but were reformatted into one during the war. This has consequences!!!

Despite being a low compatibility gestalt, the chimeracons grow close, with Purrsuit often being described as a reasonable and strategic leader (if inexperienced)

[Combiner] is one of the smaller traditional combiners, making up for their mild size disadvantage with greater speed and a preference for ranged abilities.

I'm still torn on if the chimeracons should have altmodes outside of their root modes, or if they should have a "my combiner component is my altmode" situation like Ambulon, because both have funny situations to them

What does tarantulas think of Spider-Man he seems like he’s at least know of the comics existence

Dear Amazing Arachnid,

Tarantulas ultimately considered Peter Parker to be a failure. While working on his Chimeracon project, he wished to test the effects of Obtenteum on humans. At the time, though, the superfuel was in limited supply, and he could only spare enough for a single injection. In Parker—a social pariah prone to conflict, insignificant and overlooked, but possessed of a scientific mind and the curiosity to bring the mutation to its full potential, Tarantulas found the perfect test subject.

As Parker immediately began to test the limits of his new abilities, taking on the identity of Spider-Man, Tarantulas was pleased, predicting that the boy’s drive for personal glory and revenge would bring him into conflict with ever-greater individuals and authority structures on Earth. When Parker instead chose to use his Spider-Man persona to shy away from his own desires, and “waste” his gifts saving lesser members of his species, Tarantulas was disappointed and soon lost interest, believing that Spider-Man would never evolve into an organism capable of affecting the Specimen in any meaningful way.
