Vincent Jamael the Barber, Singer and Dreamer.

"During my junior year of college, I was given the opportunity to take photos of a new music group at UNCG. Of the group, I was introduced to one of the songwriters and singer, Vincent Jamael. [Please note that Vince was actually late to the shoot because, as I would later be informed, he was meeting with a client for his side business.} To my surprise after the shoot several of my friends in the Greensboro area recognized Vince, not because of his music abilities, but for his talents around campus as a well-known barber. 

Over the years I’ve watch Vince grow, along with his craft, and his journey has inspired me to continue following my dreams. I am pleased to share his story in hopes it motivates you as much as it has motivated me.

I present to you, the dreamer...Vincent Jamael.

Hailing from Fayetteville, North Carolina, Vince Jamael has been cutting hair since the age of 13. As a child, there was something about his grandfather's razor that intrigued him. He would watch his grandfather shave and dream about the day when he would be able to take part in this rite of passage. Growing up with a range of talents from athletic, academic, and artistic, Vince decided to hone in on his true love of grooming during his freshman year at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Starting with friends in his residence hall, he quickly gained recognition across the campus and city as an elite barber. The value he offered coupled with professional quality was unmatched around the city and he knew that he had found his calling. By his junior year, he had a solid clientele base and a flawless business plan with unmatched value. His high quality haircuts coupled with his willingness to cater to his clients made him that much more of an outstanding groomer.

After perfecting basic styles, Vince began working with more challenging clients, including those of different racial and cultural backgrounds, to ensure that he could cater to the needs of all demographics. "My style is a very classic one," he said, "that takes the traditional approach to barbering and adds in a contemporary spin. My clients trust me with their appearance and I refuse to betray that trust."

Vince has developed a mastery of the clippers, shears and straight razor, making him one of the most versatile young groomers of this day and age. "Through my God-given gift, I hope to raise the level of professionalism and the standard of male grooming."
